Cucumber Raita.
A cooling complement to more spicy Indian dishes.
Preparation time: 10 minutes | Serves: 4 |
Mix together:
1 cup plain yogurt
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, grated, and liquid squeezed out
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilanto
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon powdered cumin
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Chill for 1 hour or more.
