Baked Parsnips Recipe
Baking brings out the sweetness in this vegetable dish. Excellent substitute for French fries.
Preparation time: 10 minutes Baking time: 40 minutes |
Serves: 3 |
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cut into thin diagonals:
3 parsnips (thick parts cut in half and then diagonally)
Brush with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes or until soft.
Serving idea: After baking sprinkle on parsnips:
11/2 tablespoons white or black sesame seeds roasted
