If you would you like to spend a weekend at The Expanding Light and go home feeling that you have been in the direct presence of Swami Kriyananda and Yogananda, here’s your opportunity!

Swami Kriyananda lived with Yogananda for the last three years of the Master’s life from 1949 to 1952 and served him directly. Over the years Kriyananda has told countless stories of his experiences with Yogananda, and how he would impart the teachings with power, compassion, love and sometimes humor.

In honor of the anniversary of Yogananda’s mahasamadhi-conscious passing, March 7, 1952, Treasures Along the Path, Swami Kriyananda’s talk-of-the-month club has selected special talks from Ananda’s archive recordings in which Kriyananda recounts many profound and sometimes very humorous experiences in the presence of Yogananda.

Please join us in this new dynamic class format:

• Treasures Along the Path talk titles: Life with Master, Master’s Mahasamadhi, Master’s Birthday and others
• Go over key points to listen for in the talk
• Listen closely to talk excerpts – absorb Kriyananda’s deep understanding of Yogananda’s teachings
• Meditate briefly to digest and clarify what you’ve heard
• Discuss how the concepts in the talks relate to your life, questions and answers
• Grow ever closer in your relationship with God and guru
• Go home feeling as if you have been with Yogananda and Kriyananda all weekend

Swami Kriyananda founded the first spiritual community of now nine worldwide at Ananda Village near Nevada City, California in 1968. He gave all the Spiritual Renewal Week lectures, all the Sunday Services, and practically all the classes for community members and guests in those early years. In the mid 1990’s Swami Kriyananda suggested that we start a ministry that would provide a special service to truth seekers worldwide and make the recordings of these talks available to everyone. Thus Treasures Along the Path was born.

Since 1998 we’ve been using state-of-the-art technology to digitally re-master archive recordings of Swami’s classes and lectures from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s on a wide variety of spiritual topics. Treasures makes this material available to everyone and preserves the lectures for the ages by converting them from analog to digital format.
