What better place to achieve your goal of inner peace and tranquility than Hawaii? Our retreat house is in Kona on the Big Island. The content of this retreat is based on the popular, life-changing Achieving Inner Peace & Tranquility course offered by Mantradevi at The Expanding Light.

The Perfect Balance: Inner Exploration and Outdoor Fun

Begin the day with Energization exercises, yoga postures. chanting, and meditation, followed by breakfast in the balmy outdoors.

Morning sessions will be spent exploring the invaluable wisdom, tools, and techniques of Paramhansa Yogananda and Swami Kriyananda for working with your responses and reactions to life.

Afternoons you will have choices of wonderful activities: snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, and sunning on a variety of beaches; sightseeing and kayaking/swimming with the dolphins; art projects, hanging out by the pool, or chatting with other guests. Evening options include a night swim with manta rays, sunset kirtan, and sitting by an outdoor fire with Tiki lamps.

Your comfortable accommodations will be in a beautiful, spacious private home with an infinity pool, hot tub, and lovely yard, all with a view of the ocean. You’ll enjoy delicious vegetarian meals.

            The Achieving Inner Peace & Tranquility course is filled with experiential exercises, discussion, and living examples. It includes the Full Circle Emotional Awareness Exercises. These exceptional exercises, based on Secrets of Emotional Healing by Swami Kriyananda, explore 26 different emotions, showing underlying causes plus effective techniques to work with each emotion. The study book is included.

Your Ananda Travels' Retreat Leaders are Nayaswamis Krishnadas and Mantradevi, long-time Ananda teachers and ministers. Mantradevi authored the book, Achieving Inner Peace & Tranquility, which is the basis for the course. She will be leading the morning sessions, and Krishnadas will be your nature outing specialist.

*Fees for optional outings are extra (i.e. snorkeling gear, kayaking, and night-time swim with manta rays.)
